Family Nurse Practitioner

Mark is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Emergency Nurse Practitioner. Mark began his career in healthcare in 1986 as a physical therapy assistant, attendant and emergency medical technician while he was in nursing school at North East Mississippi Community College in Booneville Mississippi. Since that time Mark has accumulated 34 years of experience in the care of the sick and injured. His experience as a registered nurse ranges from small town hospitals to level 1 trauma centers, to Saint Jude's Children's Cancer Research Hospital.

In addition to his clinical experience, Mark achieved an Associate Degree in Nursing from Northeast Mississippi Community College, a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Nursing from Mississippi University for Women. He was certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2004 and his Emergency Nurse Practitioner certification was achieved in 2018 from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Mark has owned and operated two family practice clinics, worked extensively in a dermatology clinic and has been employed the last seven years in the Emergency Department at Magnolia Regional Healthcare Center in Corinth Mississippi. He works as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner in the emergency department at Tippah County Hospital in Ripley Mississippi. Also Mark has been employed as a hospitalist nurse-practitioner at Magnolia Regional Healthcare Center for Magnolia Family Medical Practice.
